The International Community has long been a vital part of the Susan G. Komen National Race for the Cure® as we strive to defeat a disease that knows no boundaries. Ten million women around the world could die from breast cancer in the next 25 years.  Together we can save lives.

In 2008 the National Race is expecting to surpass last year’s International attendance, which had the honor to have the presence of Ambassadors and their wives from the Congo, Costa Rica, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Finland, Honduras, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Poland and Switzerland.

The embassies have already kicked off their drive for 2008 with a luncheon attended by First Lady Laura Bush. International team captains can contact teams@nationalraceforthecure.org  for more information.
